WMRMYC Inc Summer Handicap Series RD 4, Manly Marina - 17th February 2019 Just eight skippers turned up to race this event in four to five knots of south easterly breeze.
Summer Handicap Series Round 3, Manly Harbour, 20th January 2109 It was 34 degrees Celsius with a falling king tide and a brisk eight knots of easterly breeze. The course was set as windward and return from a start and gate to the centre channel buoy. Three laps constituted a race.
WMRMYC Inc Summer Scratch Series RD 3, Manly Marina - 6th January 2019 Race Report – 11 skippers attended the scratch sailing at Manly on Sunday 6 th Jan 2019
for RD 3 of the Summer Scratch Points Series.
Handicap Summer Series Round 1 18th November 2018 Nine skippers presented to race in forecast 20 knot winds. Scott Warton was PRO and set a starboard course of two triangles and a sausage, the windward mark being in the centre channel.

REDWe sail the International One Metre Class (IOM) of radio controlled yachts. This is an international radio sailing class and has a strong following worldwide. Our club is affiliated with the Queensland Radio Yachting Association (QRYA) and the Australian Radio Yachting Association (ARYA) and all members are fully insured through the latter organization.

On the first Sunday each month the Club meets at Manly Harbour (UBD Map 163 P5) for Scratch Racing. Racing starts at 9-30 am and finishes around 12 to 12-30 pm. Cost $2 per day.

On the third Sunday each month the Club meets at Manly Harbour (UBD Map 163 P5) for Handicap Racing. Racing starts at 9-30 am
and finishes around 12 to 12-30 pm. Cost $2 per day.

Social sailing takes place at Manly Harbour or the Wynnum Wading Pool (UBD Map 143 K19) every Tuesday, commencing at 8.30 am and finishing around noon. Cost $2 per day. Social sailing also takes place at Sovereign Waters Lake, Wellington Point, (UBD Map 164 Q18) every Thursday commencing at 8.30 am and finishing around noon.

Regular Club competitions take place throughout the year. Major sailing events are advertised on the website and in our monthly newsletter “Tell Tales”. All racing is conducted in accordance with the Racing Rules of Sailing.

You are welcome to come along and talk to members and get details of yachts, radios, sails etc.  … and perhaps even have a sail.

Full Member: $31 pa, Multiclub Member: $17 pa, Junior Member (Under 18): $10 pa (Members joining after 1st January in any year $20 – valid to 31st March of that year) Membership year commences 1st April. QRYA Fee $11.00
