WMRMYC Inc Club Championship Day 2 (Final) Raby Bay - 18th September 2016

The forecast was not looking great but 10 skippers turned up to brave the conditions.  We set up the club gazebo for somewhere to hide under out of the rain.

The wind was from north north west direction at about 10-12 knots for most of the day.  The location of the beach where we were sailing was very easy to launch from.  Brett, Brad and Mike really sailed well and was close sailing for the majority of the day.  John was always in the mix.  He would have been higher if it wasn’t for some port and starboard incidents that weren’t his fault.  The new WMRMYC banner was on full display – thanks to Brad for doing a great job.

As for this location, we now see how good it can be and we are very lucky to have a great venue like this so close to Manly.  Hopefully in the future we can take further advantage of this spot with more skippers attending.

Thanks for Peter, Denis and Scott for helping run the day and John for scoring.

Hope to see everyone there this Sunday for crash & bash (handicap) and the bbq.
