WMRMYC Inc - JL Sullivan Memorial Trophy, Manly Harbour - 23rd October 2016

Well we were all hoping for a strong southerly change Sunday morning  but we ended up with a very light land breeze for the JL SULLIVAN TROPHY which is a handicap event.

We had 12 boats racing and there were some close finishes after lulls and gusts bringing the fleet back together, tough on some but lucky for others.

Peter Kampe had his new boat sailing which goes quite well notching up 2 first with almost everyone else having a win, good to see Jack again just a shame he had to go early.  We called the BBQ lunch around 12:00 which went down well, the BBQ is great, heats up fast and I think everybody enjoys having a lighthearted chat over lunch, but sadly the wind never came in so everybody agreed to call the arvo off.

Russell had a great day, I don’t think he hit anyone. Lol. But he did have some battery trouble.

A big thanks to Dennis for doing the PRO and as always John for the results.

HALLOWEEN THIS SATURDAY, sailing from 12:00-14:00. There is a flyer on the WMRMYC Inc. page let’s try and put on a good show.
